TBA 2007 12th Annual, Middle School USA Superstar Jr. Select Early Exposure Basketball Camp Bellarmine University Louisville, Kentucky
|
|
The USA Jr Select Early Exposure Basketball Camp was the "first, true, invitation only" middle school girls basketball camp in the country. And we are still the premier middle school girls camp that concentrates solely on the rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade female player. It is important to know that middle school basketball is all we do! Our camp is not an add on to other high school all star camps.
The camp is directed by Richard Skaggs and Dave Smith, who have a total of 60 years of coaching experience at all levels of basketball, division 1 level included. Quality of instruction and expertise should be most important in deciding on the right camp. All of the other all star type camps are led by individuals who have never played or coached.
As a parent or a player, you want:
1. The most competitive atomosphere with the best in fundamental instruction. 2. Residing and playing on a self-contained college campus. 3. Two-to-a room dorms, (not four to a room hotels with 2 campers sharing a bed and little or no supervision). 4. All you can eat nutritious meals served in the campus cafeteria, (not catered fast food meals). 5. No bussing between hotels and rec centers, (thus no loss of valuable instructional and playing time). 6. The assurance that the best possible players will attend, (this is not a camp with any level of ability accepted, like all the others). This camp is truly an invitation only camp. 7. 24 hour campus security, for the utmost in camper safety. |
Dear Athlete:
The USA Superstar "JR Select" Early Exposure Basketball Camp invites you to participate in the 11th Annual USA Superstar "JR Select" Early Exposure Basketball Camp to be held at Bellarmine University, in Louisville Kentucky, July 29-August 1, 2006. The "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp is strictly an invitation only camp, meaning that only the most competitive players will be attending. And because of a recommendation naming you as on of the top middle school players in your area, you may be invited to take advantage of this great opportunity to play and learn with other top players your age.
TOP COMPETITION - GREAT COLLEGE EXPOSURE What sets this camp apart from other camps is the fact that the "JR Select" Early Exposure Basketball Camp is the beginning step to playing at the top level of women's basketball. The USA Camp lays the groundwork for the college recruiting process that begins now. By attending the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp, you will be exposed to hundreds of colleges through three of the major women's recruiting services in the country. It will be like 300-500 college coaches watching you play everyday. You will also be competing against the best possible players your age and being taught by some of the best college and high school coaches available.
Up until now if you have gone to other basketball camps, they have probably been camps where any ability level could attend. These types of camps are good for the beginning player but for the more competitive player, those camps could become frustrating with limited improvement.
SHOWCASE YOUR TALENTS The USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp will provide you with the competitive atmosphere that all good players love. Not only are the drills more competitive and fun, but every league game everyday is like an all-star game. And it is time for you to start using your exceptional ability to plan for a possible college career in basketball. The USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp can help you develop your skills as well as your attitude for the competition and challenges that lie ahead.
Over the past few years, players from KY, IN, IL, OH, TN, NC and MS have taken advantage of the great competition and tremendous learning experience that has been offered at the "JR Select" Camp. Saturation basketball was packed into stations, group instruction, special competitions and games over the four day period thus achieving our goal of providing challenging competition and instruction for these talented young players.
THE BEST IN FUNDAMENTAL INSTRUCTION The 2006 USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp will be even better. No other camp in the country can offer more to talented players your age. We take great pride in our staff that is comprised of top college and high school coaches. This allows the campers to get the best in fundamental instruction. And the competition should be keener with more good players coming from additional states in 2006.
PREPARING YOU FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON The USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp will prepare you for the upcoming 2006-2007 basketball season as well as prepare you for the intense competition and advanced exposure you will receive when you are ready for the next level of play. I hope you will take advantage of this unique opportunity and insure your spot in the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure camp by sending in the attached application and the $150 deposit.
We look forward to seeing you in July 2006!
Sincerely, Richard Skaggs & Dave Smith, Co-Directors
