FOOD - three "all-you-can-eat-and-drink" meals daily in the Bellarmine University Cafeteria.
HOUSING - campers will be housed in on-campus air-conditioned dormitories with two campers to a room.
INSTRUCTION - the USA Early Exposure Camp is staffed only with experienced college and high school coaches, not inexperienced coaches or college students. The coach camper ratio will never exceed 10 to 1. With additional specialized instruction each session.
EARLY EXPOSURE - an important part of the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp is the early exposure to college recruiters. No other camp can offer middle school age players what the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure Camp can. College coaches will be able to start following each camper's progress as soon as they leave camp by the data we send to the three scouting services that receive our information. We are fortunate to have the top three women's basketball scouting services as part of our network in getting information about our campers to hundreds of college coaches around the country.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT - our limited enrollment (a maximum of 100 players, not 300-500) ensures quality and enhances each camper's chance for personal instruction and improvement. Our players get more playing time, which translates into more fun.
LEAGUE GAMES - the competition in our league games is the best anywhere. This is one of the reasons you come to the USA Camp, to play against the best.
COMPETITION - talented players playing against talented players initiates improvement. At the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure camp every game, every day is an all-star game. Awards will be presented to outstanding players and teams.
CAMP STORE - Campers will be able to deposit money in a camp bank for the purchase of snacks, drinks, and pizza, as well as camp apparel.
ALL-STAR GAMES - The USA Camp will continue the same popular format of every camper playing in an all star game, with the final all star game showcasing the camp's top players.
SPEAKERS - Every summer the USA Early Exposure basketball Camp invites different speakers to share their experiences and expertise with our campers. Some of these speakers have been Andy Enfield, assistant coach with the Boston Celtics, Steve Rosenberry, NBA scout who works with AND 1 basketball apparel, and Andrea Stinson, All American at North Carolina State University and top scorer for the Charlotte Sting. At this time we have a tentative lineup of speakers but due to scheduling commitments confirmation will take place in the late spring.
SPECIAL PARENT'S SEMINAR - At 1:15 PM on July 29th, a free parent's recruiting seminar will be offered. Dave Smith, head Women's coach at Bellarmine University and the Co-director of the USA "JR Select" Early Exposure basketball Camp will talk about NCAA recruiting rules and information and how the whole recruiting process works. This will be a great opportunity for parents to learn about what they will be facing when their daughters start being contacted by college coaches.
